Copyright and PermissionsEntrants must ensure they have all legal rights and permissions for the content in their films, including music, images, and text, to avoid infringement of third-party rights.Submission of a film grants Oxford Short Film Festival the right to publicly screen the film during the festival, without additional screening fees.

5. Judging ProcessAll submissions will be evaluated by a professional jury based on criteria such as innovation, storytelling, visual impact, and artistic value.All festival decisions are final, and entrants are expected to respect the jury’s selections.

6. Selection NotificationDirectors or producers of selected films will receive an official notification, and selection announcements will be made on the festival website and social media channels.Selected films are required to provide additional promotional materials (such as posters, director photos, and film summaries) to assist with festival marketing.

7. Public ScreeningSelected films will be publicly screened during the festival, with screening times and locations determined by the festival organizers.Screening schedules and venue details will be provided to the film’s director or production team in advance.
